Rush hour

Still enjoying El Berro despite the frequent showers yesterday and the torrential rain and thunderstorm overnight. It’s forecast for the cloud to lift slowly and return to sunshine during today. Very glad I’m not in Albufeira, Portugal as some blogging friends are up to their axles in flood water there.

The walk to the breadshop this morning was a little later than usual due to the sleep interruption – heavy rain on plastic roof is not conducive to remaining in the land of nod. Herself, fully recovered from whatever it was that ailed her, was most put out at my late rising and unhurried preparations for the first outing of the day. There was however excitement to be had at the late hour of 10 a.m CET; we encountered rush hour in downtown El Berro. Four, yes 4, cars drove past us during the 750m journey back to site; usually we have to be very unlucky to see one…

🙂 🙂 🙂
