  1. Who were the two guys? Conservationists or boating aficionados, you did not include them in the tags! Hope the weather holds for Monday as well. So nice to know a little bit of UK STILL RUNNING ALONG AS WE REMEMBER it! Keep up the blogs, we do really enjoy them Rosemary XXXX

    1. Sir Matthew Pincent and Sir Steven Redgrave, umpteen gold rowing medals at 4 olympics, used to train with one of the Henley rowing clubs. This statues is by the “Wind in the Willows” museum which celebrates Toad, Ratty and company; the author lived either in or near Henley. I am remiss in my tagging and will try to do better in future!!
