about photo taking being “interdit” but the guide did let me take this one from the exit.
The Cave has 13km of tunnels but the public only get to see 600 metres. But what a 600 metres it is. Along with more stalactites and stalagmites of all 3 different types than you could ever count, in colours ranging from pure white to orange, some crystalline and sparkling, there are also cave paintings of horses and bison that were made 17,000 – 19,000 years ago, and scratch marks even older than that made by bears.
Not a place I shall forget in a hurry – truly awesome.
