The Caves at Montrichard.

So I saw the sign for Les Caves de Paul Buisse and thought “Ah, the troglodyte caves I want to visit” and went in … OK it didn’t happen that way.

So I saw the sign for Les Caves de Paul Buisse and as I was about to turn away a man came out and forced me (at gunpoint) to go in … OK it didn’t happen that way either.

So I saw the sign for Les Caves de Paul Buisse and a man came out and asked if I wished to have a taster … yup that was the way it happened.

So I saw, I drank, and I bought from the cellars of Paul Buisse a very nice little sauvignon from his Loire Valley vineyard. Two bottles – from stainless steel casks which brings out the fruit flavours better than oak barrels which produce a warmer richer winter white – a steal at ten Euros.

🙂 🙂 🙂

Note to self; when R0X1 goes in for her first habitation check get a wine rack fitted.

    1. Why spend money on storing glasses when you can spend it on the wine? Nah, I’m cheap I use an old cardboard wine bottle carrier for that! 🙂
